Together, we are experiencing a situation unseen in many of our lifetimes.  Life as we know it has come to a halt as the world tries to navigate what is now a pandemic.  The good news is that we are all in this together and if we are proactive, hopefully, life will return to normal sooner rather than later.
As the owner of a portable toilet company, my first priority is the safety of our employees and our customers.  Our business is one that is inherently “dirty” but we operate under the OSHA and MSHA guidelines to ensure the highest levels of compliance. However, over the last few weeks, it’s become clear the world will be a different place once this virus passes.  New protocols are surely to be in place across the world to prevent the future spread of contagions and many businesses will have to adapt. I am not someone who wants to wait around for direction but prefers to be proactive and creative.
Starting next week we will be using new cleaning solutions, mPerial and mPale from BHS Environmental Products during the standard service of our portable toilets.  This particular product line has been around for years and has been utilized as a sterilization tool for janitorial services.  It was already designed to kill a long list of viruses and bacteria but recently was tested and confirmed to kill Covid-19.  The mPerial product is their industrial-grade cleaner that cleans and preps the surfaces we are servicing.  This will replace the industrial-grade cleaner we are currently using during every scheduled service.  The mPale product is what sterilizes the surfaces, killing the viruses and bacteria.  When applied properly, this product will remain on surfaces for 30 days, keeping them sterilized.  Our team is being trained on the application of these new products this week and we will begin utilizing them next week.  The MSDS for the new products can be sent to you upon request.
Handy Can is dedicated to providing solutions that keep our customers and employees safe while also being proactive in the face of evolving times.  We feel that utilizing these cutting edge products will allow you to continue working with peace of mind. Using these new products is an investment in our customers and we are committed to providing them at no cost until life returns to some form of normalcy.  At that point, we will continue to provide this service for a small additional fee should our customers decide to opt-in.
The entire Handy Can team thank you for your business and trust during this time.
