BYLAWS AND POLICIES
Manages the governing documents of the Association, consistent with applicable laws & good management practices.

CODES
This committee is a group that provides members the opportunity to communicate with building department personnel on a regular basis.  Some of the specific areas of the groups discussion pertains to permitting, inspections, tech manual updates as well as long and short term goals of the industry.

TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE
A fun fund-raiser, this committee coordinates the golf tournament and sporting clays and solicits team members, sponsors and prizes.

GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS CITY OF TAMPA SUB-COMMITTEE
Plans and implements the TBBA's governmental relations program through aggressive lobbying and regularly scheduled meetings with Tampa's elected officials.

GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS HILLSBOROUGH COMMITTEE
Oversees, plans and implements the TBBA's governmental relations program and sub-committee through aggressive lobbying and regularly scheduled meetings with elected officials.

GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS PASCO COMMITTEE
Plans and implements the TBBA's governmental relations program and sub-committee through aggressive lobbying and regularly scheduled meetings with Pasco's elected officials.

GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS PINELLAS COMMITTEE
Oversees, plans and implements the TBBA's governmental relations program and sub-committee through aggressive lobbying and regularly scheduled meetings with elected officials.

INDUSTRY ISSUES FUND
This committee handles regulatory and legislative issues that impact the building industry.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
Promotes growh of the association, recruits new members and fosters member involvement in the association.  Responsible for membership retention and Spike Club.  Spike Club is an incentive program for individuals who recruit new members.

PARADE OF HOMES™
Organization of the Annual Parade of Homes™, which showcases the builder's model entries to the consumer.  As a major fund-raiser of the association, this program assists the builder in marketing and selling new homes to the public.

POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEES
Determines which political candidates will be endorsed by the TBBA; distributes PAC funds to election campaigns.

REALTOR®/BUILDER EXPO
Sponsored in conjunction with the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors®, Builders promote (via exhibits) their companies, communities, floor plans, and provide up-to-date pricing to area Realtors®.

REMODELERS COUNCIL
This council strives to foster and develop remodeling professionalism by providing information, networking, and educational programs.

SALES AND MARKETING COUNCIL
A council that has monthly networking and educational meetings and the council coordinates the Realtor®/Builder Expo and Awards of Excellence.
