Sales and Marketing Council
WHO WE ARE:
The Tampa Bay Builders Association’s Sales & Marketing Council and SMC for the state of Florida. Our (SMC) has over 500 members and is comprised of sales & marketing professionals doing business in the Tampa Bay Area. Through monthly membership meetings which include networking, dinner/breakfast and a guest speaker, you come face to face with other like-minded professionals. Joining the SMC will keep your business growing and your sales up!
We are proud to announce our SMC was awarded the Gold 2007 Excel Award for Best Florida Sales and Marketing Council with over 250 members in July!
Our SMC was also recently selected as a Silver Award Winner for SMC of the Year by The Nationals.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Information- Through your local SMC membership, you automatically become a member of the National Sales & Marketing Council and SMC for the state of Florida. Turn ideas into profits with the award-winning Sales & Marketing Ideas magazine, which you will receive monthly. In addition, you will receive the Association’s monthly publication, the Building Barometer!
- Education- Build your professional skills and increase your marketability by earning Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP) and/or Member, Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) designations, which are offered annually.
- Networking- Monthly membership meetings, which include a full hour of networking, followed by dinner/breakfast and a guest speaker or panel.
- Recognition- As an SMC member, you are eligible to participate in the annual Awards of Excellence (AOE) which is designed to recognize outstanding sales & marketing professionals in the Tampa Bay area.
- NSMC e/News- You will receive this monthly e-newsletter, which includes NSMC/IRM and NAHB news and industry issues.
- Sales and Marketing Channel- Build your skills and enhance your knowledge base by accessing the Sales and Marketing Channel for free.
- ProNet Jobs- The job service board (www.ProNetJobs.com) allows top builders to find qualified new home sales and marketing professionals across the country.
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
SMC Membership is available to any employee of a TBBA member firm. Your SMC Membership is an individual membership and not a corporate membership. Memberships are not transferable from employee to employee.
Your membership entitles you to a variety of discounts to SMC events, educational programs and Awards of Excellence (AOE) entries.
Your membership also includes an annual subscription to SMC e/News Newsletter from the State SMC, and Sales and Marketing IDEAS Magazine from the NSMC in Washington, D.C.
How to Join (Note - current TBBA members who wish to join the Sales and Marketing Council should print the downloadable application and email or fax it to info@tbba.net. New members can add the Sales and Marketing Council to their new membership application online)
