  • Councils and committees provide members the opportunity to foster leadership skills, deepen relationships, and gain exposure to industry leaders. With several councils and committees, there is something for everyone. We invite you to get involved.

  • Councils

    Councils are formalized groups within TBBA who provide distinct benefits to likeminded professionals working in closely related industry segments. Council members are required to pay additional dues.

  • Sales & Marketing Council (SMC) – 

    Composed of over 300 members comprised of sales and marketing professionals doing business in the Tampa Bay Area. Through educational programs and networking events, the SMC provides valuable tools for sales and marketing professionals, which result in a stronger and competitive homebuilding industry.

  • Meetings: 1st Thursday of every Month, Tampa Bay Times Building Downtown

  • Specialty Builders & Remodelers Council (SBRC) – 

    Composed of remodeling contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in Tampa Bay. The council’s mission is to exemplify professionalism, advance issues of consumer concern and to provide a hub for the continuing education of its members.

  • Event Committees

    Each event has a president appointed chairperson to lead the planning committee through sponsorship recruitment, ticket sales, member engagement and event planning. To learn more about each event, visit the event calendar or to learn more about each committee, contact Amy Amico.

     

  • Governmental Affairs Committees

    All members are invited and encouraged to participate on one of several committees who meet regularly with government officials to share and resolve industry concerns. The meeting schedule is posted and updated on the Events Calendar.

     

  • Executive & Finance Committee

    The executive and finance committees are comprised of elected TBBA leaders who meet monthly to review the financial, operations, and strategic developments within TBBA.   • Dues allocation related to National Association of Home Builders, Florida Home Builders Association and Political Action Committee for BUILDER/ASSOCIATE MEMBERS: Dues payments to the       Tampa Bay Builders Association Inc  are NOT tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes, but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Your dues for annual membership to the Tampa Bay Builders Association Inc   include $115 for membership in the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA) and $198 for membership in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). A portion of your 2018 dues to the FHBA is used for lobbying and is not deductible for tax purposes. The non-deductible portion of your 2018 FHBA dues is 28% and the non-deductible portion of your 2018 NAHB dues is 19%. $10.00 of your dues for membership in the Florida Home Builders Association and _ Bay Area Citizens for Responsible Government   of your dues for   Tampa Bay Builders Association Inc  is allocated to the Florida Home Builders Political Action Committees.
