    Job Description
    Summary: The Construction Materials Manager primary role is to supply projects with needed materials and tools for construction of new Single Family homes. The materials manager reports to the project manager and coordinates with site supervisor and site foreman Essential Functions:  Clean and Maintain work vehicles.  Keep inventory list of materials and location to efficiently supply to projects.  Organize materials in construction storage facility.  Keep inventory list of tools and locations efficiently provide as needed on projects.  Organize tools in construction storage facility.  Maintain Construction yard free of Debris and coordinate vegetation maintenance.  Procure any needed tools and materials needed but not in inventory.  Knowledge of what products are used on our construction sites.  Develop an understanding of the construction process to anticipate needed materials.  Work with the site foremen to supply needed supplies and tools.  Remove any materials and tools not needed at sites.  Assist in preparation for special events.  Maintain inventory in Dedication trailer for dedications.  Bring and return dedication trailer to dedications. Competencies:  Demonstrated planning and organizational skills, including the ability to anticipate tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and function smoothly under strict deadlines and shifting priorities.  Ability to multi-task, balance multiple priorities, and work in deadline-driven and fastpaced environment.  Operate in a safe manner to keep yourself and others from injury.  Ability to perform the following activities: standing; walking; working overtime and weekends as need; exposure to heat, wind, and rain, residential construction skills, driving large trucks and construction equipment; ability to lift 50 pounds or more.  Willingness to work as part of a team to support the Mission of Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County and the goals. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time non-exempt position. The typical workweek is Tuesday – Saturday. Education, Experience and Attributes:  Clean Valid driver’s license required  Ability to drive 1-ton truck with trailer. Drive safely in traffic and back up safely.  Bilingual is preferred.  Neat and Clean Professional appearance.
