    Job Description
    This opportunity is for a position in Bio-Tech Consulting's Jacksonville, Fla. office. 

    Duties within this position include but are not limited to all aspects of project management as it pertains to environmental resource permitting. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of the regulatory environment associated with federal, state, and local environmental permitting, and will have the appropriate experience to independently conduct environmental site assessments, wetland delineation, wetland monitoring and maintenance, UMAM scoring, wildlife surveys, gopher tortoise permitting and relocation, and habitat restoration plan development and implementation. Additional skills required include the ability to delegate duties to support staff as needed to keep projects on time and under budget, technical and creative writing, proposal writing, budgeting, and a solutions-based approach to complex environmental projects.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    College degree in natural sciences, environmental studies, or equivalent required. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in project management related to environmental permitting required. Be prepared to provide employer references. This position requires a valid, clean Florida Driver's License for the operation of various motor vehicles and equipment. Motorized equipment may include, but is not limited to, trucks, trailers, all-terrain vehicles, small boats, airboats, and other assigned equipment.
